Hermès Boutique at GUM will host the Hermès Chaîne d'Ancre Punk Jewelry Exhibition until November 5.
Created in 1938, the Hermès Chaîne d'Ancre Punk collection is still being revamped to this day.
An anchor chain chosen by Robert Dumas, who was in charge of Hermès back in those days, served as inspiration for these items. The first Chaîne d'Ancre bracelet was created per his sketch and became a staple for the company, being recreated in the following years in different interpretations.
In 2017, Hermès Jewelry Creative Director Pierre Ardi changed the look of the legendary jewelry and added a touch of punk rock spirit to it. Now the anchor is a duet with an English pin.
