This year, GUM has transformed into a stunning Galaxy: a real parade of planets lined up under the dome, huge spaceships and rockets marked “Bosco” getting ready to launch on an interplanetary journey to the Good Night, Kids Planet. The spaceships are headed by the favorite characters of the legendary TV show. The New Year Fair is buzzing with activity at the center of GUM, near the fountain, under a huge New Year Tree. The Department Store No. 1 is ready for the holidays: enjoy the snow-covered trees on the shopping lines, the aroma of fresh needles and sweet tangerines, a forest made from 100 New Year trees!
The décor celebrates the anniversary of the most beloved children's TV program Good Night, Kids which has been on the air for 55 years. Hryusha, Stepashka, Filya turned into brave cosmonauts! Amazing interplanetary ships and Bosco satellites, colorful rockets, and bright twinkling stars turned the space under the dome of GUM into a genuine Galaxy.
In the spirit of good old traditions, friends and partners of GUM took part in the decoration of GUM. They adorned their signature New Year trees with ornaments in the style of their brands.
The GUM New Year Tree, decorated with dolls from the Good Night, Kids program and space rockets, is traditionally installed in the heart of the store. The New Year Bazaar offers a great selection of decorations and gifts! Check out the New Year Tree toys and gift sets by the oldest Russian producer of glass Christmas toys. Founded in 1848, it is located in the birthplace of Russian glass-blowing industry — Klin.
The artisans of the factory carefully preserve the best traditions of Russian glass crafts and hand-painting, while developing both classical and modern style trends.
