On October 5, actress Julia Peresild, director Klim Shipenko, and cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov departed to the International Space Station on board Soyuz MS-19. For the first time in history, a drama film will be shot in outer space. The working title of the film is “Defiance.”
Bosco provided clothes from the Cosmos line (Bosco Sport collection) to the film crew, cosmonauts, Channel One staff, and the team behind “Evening Urgant” which hosts broadcasts from Baikonur cosmodrome.
The Cosmos collection is inspired by the achievements of Russia in the field of space exploration, as well as the historical position of the USSR as the first country to explore space and send a piloted mission into space.
The visual effects used in the collection recall the famous Russian spacesuits Orlan and Sokol that are used to protect cosmonauts traveling onboard Soyuz during launches and landings since 1973. Profiles on sleeves and shoulders, special patches, ribbed textures on elbows and knees, light-reflective theme patches with a stylized “B,” Solar system planets — these decorative elements are all superbly stylish and easily recognizable. The same style is maintained in the accessories: baseball caps, hats, backpacks, handbags incorporate reflective elements, as well as “Bosco” and “Russia” insignia.
Fans of space exploration and spaceships can enjoy the exclusive items with “Roscosmos” and “Channel One” chevrons. Julia Peresild, Klim Shipenko, and Anton Shkaplerov wore such clothing during training at Baikonur. A limited number of exclusive jackets, T-shirts, sweatshirts, and vests will be available at GUM on October 10-17, 2021.
