The picture was not chosen by chance - it was on this day in 1799 that the great Russian poet Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin was born. “Escape” is a film by Asya Gusey about how director and artist Rezo Gabriadze and writer Andrei Bitov escaped from everyday life in the work of Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin. Before the screening of the film, the director of the film, Asya Guseva, and literary critic, poet Sergei Sdobnov, delivered a welcoming speech.
The picture was made in the synthetic genre of animadoc – at the junction of documentary films and artistic animation.
