On June 24, the GUM-RED-LINE Gallery opened the exhibition Light of Color. Natella Toidze.
Natella Georgievna Toidze, Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, winner of the Gold Medal of the Russian Academy of Arts, was born, studied and works in Moscow, has a bright, recognizable author's style and high pictorial culture. Her works are kept in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian Museum, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, in the collection of the Russian Academy of Arts, as well as in other public and private collections in Russia and abroad.
The exhibition, available to the public for a month, presents 28 works - landscapes, still lifes, allegorical compositions.
All landscapes Natella writes fr om life. The difficulty of such work is to catch nature so that the light and weather conditions do not change for several days. According to Natella Toidze, stories can be found around you: “I always paint fr om life, regardless of the nature and season. Because everything lives around. The sky is above you, clouds are floating, reflexes. When the winter leaves and the snow becomes warm, you feel it. And it is important for me that the snow was different - frosty, or heavy, wet. And you write all this - this is the most interesting. "Cherry Forest" is a famous wonderful festival. I was pleased when I received such an offer to exhibit my painting. I will be glad to see any viewer at the exhibition who will respond and feel the same as I feel when I work with joy.”
Mikhail Kusnirovich, President of the Bosco di Ciliegi group of companies, visited the Light of Color exhibition and shared his impressions: Cherry Forest is a very different festival, these are theaters, landings, music, drama, ballet, book publishing and exhibitions. We really wanted the GUM-RED-LINE gallery to host an exhibition of a real great artist of our time. And it succeeded. Natella Toidze is an artist whose work contains our childhood dreams, the dreams of my generation, wh ere there is light, wh ere there is a desire to see tomorrow as kind, bright, good.”
