Meissen porcelain eggs are inspired by traditional Easter decorations. Each egg is cast from the manufactory's own porcelain and then hand-painted. The rounded shape and characteristic lustrous white luster provide the manufactory's porcelain artists with a flawless surface on which to bring their miniature paintings to life. The painting style is inspired by historical engravings from the manufactory's archives. The Meissen Easter Egg Collection features rich designs that can be combined in a variety of ways, adding festive accents to spring bouquets and flower arrangements.
