Single-brand boutique of the jewelry house Buccellati was opened at the 2nd line of GUM. Cherished traditions, timeless design and refined craftsmanship, creativity & top-quality materials have always been at the center of the family Buccellati universe.
Mario Buccellati has opened his first jewelry store in Milan near the famous La Scala theater in 1919. The aspiring young man has dreamt of reviving the forgotten technique of ancient Greece and medieval craftsmanship, as well as his favorite Renaissance period. Soon, he has started to fulfill the orders of the royal families of Spain and Egypt and to supply the jewels to the Pope and the great Cardinal of Rome.
In 1979, Buccellati has become the first Italian brand to open its boutique at the world famous Place Vendôme in Paris, where the world's largest jewelry brands are presented.
Thanks to the efforts of the grandchildren Mario, Andrea and Lucrezia, the Renaissance-based jewelry art fr om Italy is broadcast to the 21st century. Traditions and culture passed on from generation to generation help to create the perfect pieces, appreciated all over the world.
