"100 new places to see" - the photographers of the Condé Nast Traveler China magazine traveled all over the Celestial Empire in search of these shots. You are welcome to appreciate the result at the 1st line of GUM until February 28th
The photo exhibition "Modern China" is about the recently discovered and, on the contrary, undeservedly forgotten scenic areas, which have enlarged the list of the most interesting sights of China.
The towering-over Shanghai embankment, the lost in the mountains Buddhist monastery, the super-modern museum, the flowering apricot grove, the incredible spaceship-like co-working area are the best places offered to a traveler in 23 provinces, 5 autonomous regions, 4 cities of central subordination and 2 special administrative areas of China.
"We have tried to fully show the huge leap, made by China, which seeks the future, but does not forget about the past. The shots not only convey the atmosphere of the Celestial Empire, but also inspire an intimate acquaintance with its sights," the editorial’s director of Condé Nast Traveler China Xun Sai-sai says.
