The farm of the Yastrebov Brothers, located in the Staritsky District of the Tver Region, offers hard, seasoned, semi-hard and soft cheese varieties of cow and goat milk, which are now available at Gastronome No. 1. As well as milk, cottage cheese and cream – everything is fresh and natural. However, let’s give the floor to the farmer:
Eduard Yastrebov, “Yastrebov and brother” cheesy dairy, Tver region:
In 2007, we came up with an idea to switch to a healthy diet. My brother and I bought the first cow. We decided to start up our own business then. First, the products were bout by our friends, then word of mouth worked. Now we have a small herd - about 20 cows and 10 goats. We will not get Parmesan or Roquefort without imported starter cultures, just like Italians and French will not repeat our cheese varieties, because our herbs are not alpine, but meadow and climate is different.
