Created and presented by Ms. Jill Sander as one of the key accessories of the women's collection Jil Sander Prefall 2013, the legendary Tootie bag comes to the catwalk in the SS collection in the interpretation of the new creative directors of Jil Sander brand Lucie and Luke Meier.
The limited capsule collection features red, black, white and silver versions of the new Tootie bag. It became the part of the first individual exhibition of Jil Sander, opened in November 2017 at the Angewandte Kunst Museum in Frankfurt, Germany.
The Tootie bag, reflecting the credo of the fashion house which is about the combination of minimalism and elegance, is the result of deconstruction - the handle was moved from the top to the side, and the folded body, consisting of the three compartments, is covered with two flat pads connected by a zippered top.
The signature model has a metallic zipper. It is made of calf leather added with leather lining. The model is the combination of the tradition & modernity, detailed & offbeat design.
