In the new collaboration, the brand is working with English designer Richard Quinn, founder of the brand of the same name, who received the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design in 2018.
The project fr om the &Co.llaboration series is called MAi. This is the result of psychedelic research that moves from the past straight into the future. This is a crossover between the glamor of old sci-fi films from the sixties and the aesthetics of dystopias wh ere artificial intelligence reigns.
The MAi capsule collection stars iconic floral patterns created by designer Richard Quinn and translated into a variety of silhouettes and innovative materials. Richard Quinn reinterprets the MAX&Co. style codes into stunning crepe de Chine dresses, imbued with the spirit of great French fashion - the designer's main passion - long jackets and light coats in a space-age style.
The color scheme of the collection was color blocking, playing with bright and black colors. And all this is embodied in a series of pieces with a second-skin effect in technical fabrics and patent leather, in a maxi suit with rhinestone embroidery and, finally, in a T-shirt with the logo of the capsule collection.
The collection is presented in the MAX&Co flagship boutique on the 3rd line of GUM.
