TAG Heuer presents Museum in Motion set-out in GUM
On October 9th, the opening of the unique exhibition TAG Heuer - Museum in Motion was held in GUM. The boutique in GUM offers rare watches of the Heritage series from the museum of the brand in La Chaux-de-Fonds (Switzerland), as well as special models from the private collections.

Catherine Eberle-Devaux, who is responsible for the TAG Heuer’s heritage, came to Moscow especially to welcome the guests of the event together with Oleg Kaydalov, the general director of the brand in Russia, and kick off this significant event.

Catherine Eberle-Devaux: “For the first time, the unique TAG Heuer models leave the museum and are presented within such a display here in Russia. I am sure that the wealth and depth of any famous brand can be learnt through its history. I believe that the experience of the past contributes to the creation of something new and unique in the future. ”

Oleg Kaydalov: “Today we praise the rich history and heritage of the TAG Heuer, and I am proud that we are spending this evening in the company of Catherine Eberle-Devaux, who came especially to share her knowledge with us!”

Museum in Motion is a special event as the original vintage watches were taken from the museum for the first time to be collected into a special historical set-out. The guests of the exhibition can get acquainted with the rich history and exceptional craftsmanship of TAG Heuer in terms of luxury sports watches’ design. The Heuer Mikrograph of 1916 is especially noteworthy. It is the first stopwatch with an accuracy of time measuring up to 1/100 of a second, which was used at the Olympic Games of the 1920s. The exposition also features the first chronograph Heuer Monaco of 1969, which became landmark thanks to the Hollywood actor Steve McQueen.

Motor rally fans will be interested in a vintage Heuer Rally-Master dashboard set of timers of 1960, which was considered the best gift for the participants of the races.

The Museum in Motion exhibition gives an opportunity to plunge into the world of TAG Heuer. The guests of the evening were the first to see the unique vintage models of the brand, and learnt about the work of the movement from the inside, watching the watchmaker’s work.
Artem Korolev, Yasmina Muratovich, Konstantin and Olga Andrikopulos, Ilya Kusnirovich, Evgenia Linovich, Vlad Lisovets, Daria Moroz and many others were spotted at the opening of the exhibition in GUM. On-The-Go band was responsible of the musical part of the evening.
