Autumn in British style: new chelsea boots by John Lobb
The English brand John Lobb presents classic Lawry chelsea boots. On the one hand, it is a timeless classic, on the other hand, it is a trendy model, which is now available with the Lightweight walking sole.

It is difficult to imagine classic Englishman without a chelsea pair, just like a fashionable Italian without loafers. This pair of shoes has long been synonymous with England. It is not for nothing as it was designed there back in 1837.

The shoemaker Joseph Sparks-Hall presented Queen Victoria with the first pair of innovative boots for horseback riding. The absence of lacing & zippers is the main feature of chelsea model. They are replaced by elastic bands on the sides. Of course, the bands facilitated the putting on & taking off the boots for the ladies of the 19th century.

The combination of soft and durable water-resistant leather with ultra-light sole, handicraft and a number of tricks passed from generation to generation as "secret crafts" make the boots the best companion for autumn walks.

You are welcome to John Lobb in GUM!
