Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the release of the Royal Oak female version, Audemars Piguet introduces the new Royal Oak Frosted Gold, which will be available in the boutiques of the brand in Moscow and Sochi starting from March.
The new model made of white or pink gold is created in collaboration with Carolina Bucci, the jewelry designer from Florence. Royal Oak Frosted Gold features shimmering sheen, which is created by a surface treatment based on an ancient gold forging technique - the so-called Florentine art, which gives the effect of diamond dust. Audemars Piguet specialists needed six months to adapt it to horology taking into account the unique design of the case and bracelet.
The original model was presented by another woman 40 years ago. It was Jacqueline Dime, who determined the nature of many Audemars Piguet models, both male and female.
Decades later, Audemars Piguet synthesizes the eternal Jacqueline Dime design and the modern Carolina Bucci’s approach, brilliantly demonstrating the remarkable link between the modern horology and jewelry art.

The model is available in the boutique of the brand in GUM (1st line, 1st level).
