Tips for Choosing a Swimsuit: Summer 2019 Trends by Estelle Adoni
We will share some tips on how to buy a perfect swimsuit for this season. The choice of beachwear is yours: textured, with belts, with original prints, concise and bold. See you at the Estelle A-store and the Mono-Brands Gallery located on Line 3, Floor 2 of GUM.

Texture
The classic, smooth Lycra is excellent, but for those who would like to experiment with something new, we advise paying attention to swimsuits made of materials with a more sophisticated texture. For instance, the swimsuits from the latest collection by the Spanish brand Andres Sarda, presented at the Mono-Brands Gallery, are designed from a fabric that looks like laced knitwear; it adds chic and uniqueness to your look.
One Shoulder Top
Asymmetry is still on the peak of popularity, but this season it has attained new nuances. The swimsuits immediately remind us of the Jean Paul Gautier costumes created for The Fifth Element. Russian designer Natalya Yakimchik came up with a unique one shoulder swimsuit that was exclusively designed for Estelle Adoni . It combines futurist motives with Hollywood glamour; the swimsuit is lavishly decorated with crystals. Look for one shoulder swimsuits in the bright-colored Melissa Odabash collection. Beach articles by both brands, including the exclusive NATAYAKIM monokini, can be found at the Estelle A-store.
Aquarelle Prints
Slightly blurry, semi-transparent, airy, and deliberately ragged here and there – these aquarelle prints seem to have been transferred from paintings to swimsuits. The Pop Art Line from the SHAN collection presented at the Estelle A-store was made from snow-white Lycra that looks like a canvas with depictions of vibrant abstract petals and flower-buds. You can also find Aquarelle by Gottex swimsuits contain fine gradient prints.
Minimalistic Triangles
This type of swimsuits is for the boldest and most confident women or for those who would like to get a perfect sun-tan – seductive tiny bikinis with a bra in the form of a triangle. These swimsuits with spaghetti straps tied behind the back and around the neck are available in many colors. Check out, for example, the Pin-Up Stars from the Estelle A-store.
Absolute Cleavage and Open Back
Another way to reveal your body is to demonstrate your cleavage and your back, including one of the most attractive areas – the small of the back. Designers challenge the most outrageous fashionistas to replace cocktail dresses with such one-piece swimsuits. Combine them with loose fit high-waisted trousers, and off you go to a beach party. Look for perfect one-piece swimsuits at the Lise Charmel corner located at the Boutique Gallery.
Crop Tops
The universal trend is continued by swimsuits with bras with a shortened top that you can also wear with casual clothes, such as a blazer jacket over the shoulders, jeans, or a flowing skirt. Items with lace-up details are especially cute – they do not look like lingerie and can be worn as a separate article. Such swimsuits are presented in the Summer collection of the Maryan Mehlhorn brand.
Retro-style
Tankini, and shorts are right for any body type. Swimsuits with belts accentuating the waist, as well as items with retro-prints (stripes, squares, and dots) are popular this season. The motives of the past years are featured in the Marlies Dekkers swimsuit silhouettes; a wide selection of this brand’s bathing suits is presented at the Boutique Gallery. To complement your beach look in the spirit of the 1970s, choose hoop earrings, hats with wide flaps, oversize tops, or open front kimonos.
We look forward to seeing you at the Estelle A-store Boutiques and the Mono-Brands Gallery, Line 3, Floor 2!
