To celebrate the coming Russian Student Day, GUM Ice Rink hosted the traditional Student Sports Night.
The event was organized by the Sports Ministry of the Russian Federation, the Russian Student Sports Club Association and the Russian Student Sports Union with support from Bosco di Ciliegi and Russian Mediagroup.
The event was hosted by the Russian minister of sports Oleg Matytsin, head of the Presidential Social Projects Department Sergey Novikov, president of the Russian Student Sports Union Sergey Seyranov, executive director of the Russian Student Sports Club Association Evgenia Bychkova, Olympic champions Alexey Nemov and Svetlana Zhurova.
Oleg Matytsin noted that “it is highly symbolic that we have gathered here, on Red Square, the center of our great country. This is ample proof that our leaders take care of us and want us to be happy, healthy, and sure of our future.”
Moscow Dynamo Hockey Culb and Olympic sportsman Ivan Skobrev held masterclasses during the Student Sports Night.
