This year the Cherry Forest Festival brings art directly to your home! The large-scale Optimistic Performances. Live Broadcast Online Concert will be on air on the First Channel on May 31, 23:05, from the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts.
The concert is held with strict attention to social distancing guidelines. The show includes performances by Ildar Abdrazakov, Yuri Bashmet, Evgeny Mironov, Marina Neelova, Victor Ryzhakov, Yekaterina Shipulina, Igor Butman, Valery Syutkin, Polina Osetinskaya, Sasha Dovgan, and Vladimir Koshevoy. Mikhail Shvydkoy and Renata Litvinova will host the concert.
The program embraces the magnificent music of Rachmaninov, Rubinstein, and Rimsky-Korsakov; poems by Pushkin and Samoilov; songs by Utesov and Gladkov.
Choreographer Boris Eifman from Saint Petersburg, director Revaz Gabriadze from Tbilisi, and Franco Zeffirelli Foundation President Pippo Zeffirelli from Florence will take part in the concert via special broadcasts.
