The Swiss brand Swatch and art are inextricably linked: many of most well-known designers, fashion experts, and contemporary artists have created true masterpieces for Swatch. Today the creation of your unique Swatch has been made much faster and easier. The global project Swatch x YOU allows for any pattern selected by the customer to be immediately applied to a Swatch watch. Anyone can create their own exclusive Swatch.
In July 2020, the global project Swatch X YOU comes to Russia. It is hosted in the center of Moscow – at GUM. The opening of pop-up space near the central fountain of GUM is yet another important stage of the long and fruitful cooperation between GUM and Swatch.
The highlight of the pop-up space is the unique Swatch Canvas printer that allows for a pattern to be applied directly to the semi-translucent back and strap of your Swatch in just 20 minutes. Customers can sel ect the color of the mechanism and add a special message to the back of the clock face. The Swatch collection includes a number of patterns that can be browsed online, as well as several exclusive patterns that are only available at the Swatch pop-up space at GUM. The latter include three patterns that have been designed together with GUM. Moreover, the GUM pop-up will also hold special watches with patterns by contemporary Japanese artists fr om July 30 to August 10.
The collaboration with Japanese artists is just one of the lines that will be made available. Outstanding patterns by contemporary Russian artists will be presented before September 14. Special announcements will be published as soon as the time comes.
