We frequently act as a pioneering company in many initiatives, including the Cherry Forest Open Art Festival and the GUM Ice Rink on Red Square. However, this time we wish to support and follow an initiative suggested by another party.
I have learned of the offer made by Helikon Opera Creative Director Dmitry Bertman to open a coronavirus vaccination center right in the theater. This is a case when a round of “Bravos” is in order.
I am ready to wholeheartedly and resolvedly support this initiative.
If the Moscow City Administration will go forward with creating mobile vaccination stations, GUM will be ready to provide all the required space and infrastructure immediately.
Bosco is a company wh ere the client comes first. We want to be with our Bosco family at this time and at the very least make it possible for people to safeguard themselves and their families by taking the vaccine.
The coronavirus has touched practically every one of us, including the families of our company’s 5000 employees and my own family.
Bosco is already involved in fighting COVID-19. Starting from March 2020, Bosco Manufactures in Kaluga switched entirely to producing individual protective gear.
GUM is prepared to further contribute to the fight against COVID-19 starting from Monday.
Despite the significant drop in visitor numbers, GUM still attracts more than 30 000 people per day. In my personal opinion, it would be fitting to provide people an opportunity to receive vaccination fully in line with medical requirements and Rospotrebnadzor guidelines right here, at Red Square.
By doing this, we will also be helping the excellent doctors and nurses of Moscow and contributing to the reduction of the risk of catching the virus. I have experienced coronavirus firsthand and right now want to do everything to keep people safe.
At the very least, we must try our best.
