The English designer, heralding from Sicily, creates clothes inspired by cult items from the brand’s history and constantly highlighting body positivity.
The pants suit-tuxedo, two coat dresses, dress with lace decorations, small jackets with ribbons on the back showcase the various hues of champagne, white and black. The only red item is a hooded dress that adds a flash of energy to the collection. Purple ballet shoes with black lacing shine with heart-shaped sequins. Sequins are also featured in choker necklaces.
As Antonio Berardi explains, “I started from the idea of a truly feminine take on formal wear. No embroidery, no prints, nothing too theatrical or gaudy. At the same time, the collection is dominated by a feeling of joy. We celebrate 40 years of Marina Rinaldi with looks that are both seductive and innocent.”
