Geometry abundance, bright shades, flashes of white and ultimate black graphics. This is the starting point of the Marina Rinaldi Pre-Fall 2018, which is demonstrated by the shop window of boutique in GUM.
The collection is inspired by the bright creative spirit of Ettore Sottsass and the Memphis Group from the 80s: the team founded by the architect, designer and photographer Sottsass together with a group of internationally renowned colleagues such as Hans Hollein, Andrea Branzi, Michele de Lucchi and Arata Isozaki. The movement, originated as an answer to the faceless minimalism of the 70s, created a striking aesthetics consisting of bright colors, super-energetic patterns and unexpected forms.
