The 2019 Spring/Summer collection is inspired by the world of dance, it is a hymn to the beauty of the body in movement. Maria Grazia Chiuri, the creative director of the House of Dior turned the fashion show into a choreographic performance.
The shop windows this season are a reminiscence of that very show when the dancers moved through soft petals of pastel colors. The colorful flowers seemed to mimic all the subtle colors of human skin. This is reflected in the fine prints of the light skirts and dresses of the collection.
