The new Fendi cruise collection is the first solo collection made by Silvia Venturini Fendi without the legendary maestro Karl Lagerfeld.
The popular 1980s thriller Gloria by American director John Cassavetes inspired the collection. Silvia considers the main character of the film Jeri Dawn, played by the beautiful Gene Rowlands, to be her muse. This character, strong and determined, but deeply sensitive and emotional at the same time, inspired the designer to create a collection that effectively combines sensuality and subtle romanticism.
The winter shop windows at GUM demonstrate a dramatic combination of pink and black. Sizable ornaments behind the glass resemble snowballs and glowing bubbles. A scene worthy to be filmed? Absolutely!
