For millions of Russians, the magic of a winter fairy tale begins with colorful decorations on the main square of the capital: with thousands of lights on the facades of GUM, New Year's music at the GUM Skating Rink, and the festive fuss of the traditional GUM Fair on Red Square. Its scope is not inferior to the best fairs in Europe. This is a real festive winter town: carousels for children and adults, mouth-watering treats - pies and pancakes, fried sausages and Viennese waffles, gingerbread and bagels, aromatic tea with ginger, mulled wine and sbiten with honey.
