Off-White & Jimmy Choo collaboration has already appeared in GUM. It includes nine pairs of shoes, inspired by the image of Princess Diana – the loyal admirer of Jimmy Choo luxury brand. This is the first similar experience for Jimmy Choo: the brand did not launch commercial collections for pret-a-porter designers before.
Classic models Mary, Victoria, Sara, Jane and Charlie are presented in a modern interpretation by the creative director Off-White Virgil Ablo, who gave spicy sport chic to them. "The taste of Diana was very different from what she had to wear," Virgil says. "This is a great inspiration for me."
High boots of leather and suede are put on a little bit lowered stocking of black tulle, ballerina flats are decorated with over-sized bows, and sandals are wrapped in silicone cases.
It looks offbeat, but will surely be appreciated by real it-girls: Rihanna, Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner had been spotted wearing them.
