The traditional Ice Cream Day will be held in GUM - come and taste the legendary delicacy and help the charitable foundation for supporting children with the developmental delays "I am!".
This year, the Ice Cream Day is timed to coincide with the celebration of the International Children's Day. On June 1st, from 10:00 to 22:00, well-known musicians, actors, singers, TV presenters, favorite athletes and trustees of the "I am!" foundation will act as ice-cream vendors. They will sell the famous delicacy at a special price of 25 rubles per serving at the fountain. The proceeds will be spent on the programs of "I am!" charity foundation at changing the attitude of society to special children and the projects’ implementation. Russian celebs including Yegor Beroyev, Ksenia Alferova, Pavel Volya, Ani Lorak, Dmitry Kharatyan, Alena Sviridova, Elena Letuchaya, Leonid Roshal, Mikhail Galustyan, Alexander Revva, Alexei Nemov, Alika Smekhova and many other Bosco friends will act as ice-cream vendors this day.
GUM ice-cream is the hallmark of the Main Department Store of the country for a long time. GUM will prepare over 130 000 servings for its friends especially for the Ice Cream Day. Ice cream is still made by hand - the technology has not changed. Chocolate, blueberries, strawberries – all the ingredients are natural, without preservatives and coloring agents. The range is about 10 tastes now, and the choc-ice, which recipe includes several types of milk, appeared in 2013 only. There was only the famous ice cream "with a hat" in a crispy wafer cup before that.
