In the run-up to the Baselworld 2018, Blancpain introduced the watch, which will become the perfect travel companion. The complication in the form of a new full GMT calendar is supplemented by Blancpain's patented percussion correctors.
Since the beginning of the 1980s, the Blancpain watch with the full calendar and moon phase has become the signature of the brand. The design used by Blancpain has firmly established itself as a classic layout. It displays the day of the week and the month in separate windows, the date with the help of an additional blued curved arrow on a scale symmetrical to the main ring, and the phase of the moon in the window located at “6 o'clock”. The addition of the GMT function raises the watch to the level of the high watch complication.
Making the watch the perfect travel companion, the calendar displays data linked to the display showing local time using the main arrows. Home time is indicated by an arrow marked with a red triangle.
The full GMT calendar is offered in two versions: in red gold with an opaline dial and Roman numerals in red gold and in steel with a white dial and Roman numerals in white gold. Both designs are enclosed in a 40-mm case with the Villeret’s traditional double-stepped bezel. Alligator leather strap or metal bracelet is available for each timepiece.
