On April 23, at 7:30 PM, a screening of one act ballets from Ekman / Goecke / Naharin at the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre will take place at GUM Cinema. The ballets were performed as part of the Golden Mask Cinema Project.
One Act Ballet Night:
Veil, choreographer – Alexander Ekman
Lonesome George, choreographer – Marco Goecke
-16, choreographer – Ohad Naharin
The event will combine the performances directed by Alexander Ekman from Sweden, Marco Goecke from Germany, and Ohad Naharin from Israel. The ballets will introduce viewers to the world of European contemporary dance at its peak. The freedom of movement and unexpected techniques, sorrow and irony, search of new forms and return to the sources, Vivaldi, Shostakovich, Karlsson, and Hava Nagila are perfect together on a single stage; they create an unparalleled effect of involvement and nascence of new classics.
