In the evening of April 11, the GUM Demonstration Hall was turned into a vivacious and exotic tropical forest swamped with live ferns, tropical décor patterns, and floral compositions. What was the occasion? Invitation-only fashion show by Marina Rinaldi.
The renowned Italian brand presented the new Spring-Summer collection – bold and dynamic, as always. The show involved two favorite capsule lines: Fausto Puglisi for Marina Rinaldi – dresses, tops, and skirts in bright nuances of fuchsia pink, yellow, blue, and orange, as well as the Ashley Graham for Marina Rinaldi with unique feminine denim apparel. A standout safari theme was also presented; the guests marveled at the light flowing dresses and wraps, silk suits, and tunics in African style. Some of Marina Rinaldi’s star friends walked the catwalk: Russian romance and jazz performer, meritorious actress of the Russian Federation Nina Shatskaya, actress Yulia Kuvarzina, singer of the Sugar Mamas duet Vika Kuzmina, and actress Nadezhda Angarskaya.
Nina Shatskaya: My favorites are the two looks that I presented today. They are very elegant and feminine; they also help to accentuate one’s figure. I have also noted a lot of interesting ideas, for example, clothes in the African style. I believe that skinny girls could even get jealous of the spectacular models by Marina Rinaldi for curvaceous ladies.
Vika Kuzmina: Today on the catwalk I showed a knockout dress with a coal pattern, I love it, and will undoubtedly buy it. A beautiful, happy collection, I adore Ashley Graham, her capsule line for Marina Rinaldi is something out of this world!
Yulia Kuvarzina: I especially liked the windbreakers, and outerwear of the collection, in general.
