Exclusive Bespoke Service by John Lobb

Join Michel Raballant, the shoe master of the John Lobb Atelier, on June 29 and 30 for a unique Bespoke Session where he will be taking measurements and talking aboutthe nuances of shoemaking art.

John Lobb is one of the oldest shoe brands in the world. It was founded in London back in 1876 during the reign of Queen Victoria. Among the clients of the company were Edward VII, the King of the United Kingdom, famous tenor Enrico Caruso; the legendary character of Ian Fleming, James Bond, also used to wear John Lobb shoes.

Today John Lobb – a part of Hermes since the end of the 1970s – manufactures a ready-to-wear line and creates personalized handmade pairs of boots and shoes to measurements, by request.

The service is one-of-a-kind. As compared to other shoemaking brands, John Lobb not only selects the style and color of the skin according to the client’s preferences but is also ready to make original models based on sketches or descriptions provided by the client. A personalized shoe is created for each foot. It is securely stored at the workshop so that it can be used for new orders. If the shape of the foot changes with time, the shoe will be modified. Michel Raballant travels to Moscow to meet with his Russian clients at the mono-boutique at GUM and the St-James Boutique at Four Seasons.

Another unique feature of John Lobb – any of the hundreds of models made in the last decades can be replicated. The client can choose the type of leather and its color. If you are inclined to wear the boots of King Edward or the shoes of Caruso, your dream can come true.

Please book your session in advance by phone +7 (495) 620-31-14. See you at John Lobb, GUM!
