Gancini: New Collection by Salvatore Ferragamo
Creative director Paul Andrew has created a full-fledged collection adorned with the Gancini monogram. The collection features shoes, clothing, and accessories for both men and women.
To celebrate the launch of the collection, Salvatore Ferragamo once again produced an advertising campaign with blogger Bryanboy. This season, Bryanboy invited several of his friends to explore the very concept of "legendary". To wear new embodiments of the brand's legend and share thoughts about what "cult" or "iconic" actually means. Talented young people — Linda Tol, Tamu McPherson, Xenia Adonts, Carlo Sestini, Chris Burt-Allan, Tina Leung, and Yoyo Cao — took part in the campaign. The campaign was shot in Milan.
Paul Andrew noted that "Gancini is a beautiful symbol with a genuine connection to the world of Ferragamo, an element created in the image and likeness of a metal fitting on the gates of the Ferragamo palazzo in Florence. For us, Gancini is a legendary element, a symbol that emphasizes and binds together the values of the Salvatore Ferragamo brand."
