The designer concept store Section opened at GUM on December 8. The space is located in a new area, on Floors 2 and 3 of Line 1, it is closer to Ilyinka Street.
The Section, initially an experimental pop-up store, did not only carve itself a consumer market, it also had very positive feedback from customers. The project almost immediately became a permanent venture at Bosco.
The Section became the first boutique at GUM that exclusively features Russian designers’ items. The new season, though, will be full of surprises. The concept store will introduce such brands as Sunnei, Etudes, Carne Bollente, Opening Ceremony, Maison Kitsune, Ader Error, Jil Sander Navy, Marc Jacobs, 3.1 Philipp Lim along with the usual selection of Russian brands. As a result, the new boutique will house Russian and international brands of clothes, shoes, accessories, books and magazines, departments of vinyl and ping-pong, as well as a bar – all facing Red Square.
The Section is not only a clothes, accessories and gift shop. The project interconnecting diverse communities is committed to becoming a breakthrough platform for bringing together fashion brands and industry professionals with their customers. This explains why this space will continue to be a venue for special events, content creation strategies, experience exchange with a mission of putting together a truly universal community. The collaboration with international brands will help to bring the dialogue to a new level.
