We can hardly recall another luxury brand except for Сhristian Dior which timeline is intertwined with the timeline of GUM so oddly and closely. The fabulous appearance of models in Christian Dior apparels at the lines of Soviet GUM in 1959 marked the start. It has made the brand one of the most recognizable in Russia long before the opening the first store in Moscow in 1997. Therefore, it’s consistent that Dior comes back to GUM in 2005 as a luxury boutique offering the complete range of the branded collections.

In 2012, Dior boutique in GUM moved from the beautiful rotunda at the corner of Red Square to the gallery at the first line. It also became single-storey to meeta new concept of the architect Peter Marino, according to which architectural style of the new boutique was to echo the image of the main Parisian Dior boutique in Avenue Montaigne, 30. Architectural elements of the XVIII century combined with modern design solutions create an elegant interior to unite the rich history and current life of the House of Dior.
